About Logic

How to wake up unconscious mind when conscious mind flows like logic-sensible-reasonable ways?

The world we live is logic and reasonable. There are also huge need to prove it. Studies show what’s right or wrong, good or bad, who is right and who is wrong. What’s the right medicine or treatment to certain disease.

It’s logic to think logic.

It’s also logical to approach emotions with logic. And at first analyze emotions with logic ways. The way to do it is to find the triggers. Triggers come mostly from outside and that makes easier to find the triggers.

This means also that triggers and logic are one key to our unconscious mind. When auto-matic  res-pons slows down it’s flowing. Slowing down gives opportunity to breathe in and out and mayby – just mayby – be a little confused. And consciously come and be aware – hey.. what.. is this.. what’s all about!

It’s also the moment to see, hear or feel how logic and brilliant unconscious mind is. That makes me wonder, where do we need all scientific research, when everything is inside us. I mean everything. Having the key to open our wisdom and find the answer there.

Mind’s goal is harmony, and it makes the best to achieve the goal. Let’s allow and give the harmony to mind by accepting ourselves as a whole.

How the wholeness shows, for example, in limiting belief. When someone finds limiting belief like “I’m bad”. Before finding it there was need to be good, make good things, focusing only good. Because it’s not allowed to be bad and accept badness in oneselves. Minds’ need to harmony means that it looks for bad to balance good and bad. But if there is no acceptance for badness there can’t be balance in state of mind. Mayby, just mayby, mind looks after to see peoples badness and mayby, attracts bad thing to happen.

Let’s be whole and accept ourselves as a whole. Allowing definitions that have ment something negative. Trusting oneselves ability to live in harmony, enjoying and having fun in life.

Helplessness, Hopelessness and META-Medicine

This is my first Blog and I hope that my Finnish-English is understandable. Welcome to read my thoughts.

What is helplessness?
Is it hopelessness, lack of belief of own abilities, lack of means and methods, lack of knowledge?

Think about a moment, You have knowledge and awareness of situation, you have also abilities and capabilities. You see them, or feel them or hear them.

And when there is faith and belief to something, so what’s in?
There are hope, abilities, means, skills, knowledge and awareness of all those. Something else, too?

What’s hopelessness?
Is it that another get it but you don’t? Or in sickness, there are no reason to get well and recover from disease?

Take a moment to think about that you get some diagnose. What does it mean to you and where does it lead to? Mayby certain symptoms, treatment, getting worse – there are certain expectations and beliefs. Where is hope?

Hope is needed when getting well and recover – definately!

When the diagnose is not the end of the world, but it’s opportunity to recover and get well, become even stronger than before? Like in META-Medicine healing process especially in regeneration phase. Disease actually gives the opportunity for the real soul-ution, for the real recovery from ‘all old’ that don’t work anymore.
Healing doesn’t come from fairytales but it comes from own activity and own decisions.

There are a lot of means, methods and techniques in META-Medicine. The way to practise these techniques is much joyable, rewarding, interesting and developing than taking drugs. The question is – do you allow yourself the joy, reward or development?

When practising with META-Medicine techniques, you get the needed knowledge and awareness with joy and fulfillment, your awareness gets wider and improves. In IMMA, there is possibility to international network and have the latest information from human as a whole.

Practising META-Medicine also gives the possibility to find and practise own skills, to develop as oneselves. Human is whole – human is and has everything. The lacking quality, only needs to find, take action and practise it.

Something about limiting beliefs.
Limiting belief is something that stops you doing what you would like to do. Limiting belief includes the trigger to this action what stops you. It puts in motion something that is against the best in situation in that moment.

Interesting, isn’t it?

How to change actions and get rid of the limiting belief?
Isn’t that so that finding trigger is important?
Yes, and there are also need to change thoughts about oneselves, as oneselves. The real changes are made in identity level by thinking, Who you are and how you define yourself? What are the beliefs from you as yourself?

Changing thinking process about identity, leads to different action and behaviour. It helps strenghtening different skills and knowledge. It leads to observe the environment different way, have the new vision of environment.

Identity and who someone really is – includes the boundaries between self and environment. Having own boundaries of self and as a self – what does it mean? At least it mean respect – respect to self, respect to other, respect to humanity. It also means accepting everyone as they are.

Is there a trap, when thinking about that someone belongs to something bigger, is part of something like part of environment?

We all are unique oneselves. That’s the brilliancy in META-Medicine questions that’s noticed to. People are taken as they are, as they feel, as they live, as they think, as they see things, as they hear things – as their situation is, right now. With paying attention to environment at the same time.

Finding own unique, brilliant oneself – is great. Finding SOUL-ution and act as oneselves with flexibility in own environment – is GREAT.

Brains are plastic and they have plasticity. It can happen that this plasticity get tired in a long run. What is then needed? Energy? Something else, too?

Having back own energy, taking the joy into life and beeing curious about possibilities – it also helps in flexibility.

Thank You for reading!
With warm thoughts – love&light to You.

What’s so important about emotion? By Joanne Ross and Robert Waghmare

As META-Health Coaches and Trainers, we work with emotion on a daily basis. But what are we working with? What are emotions? What’s their purpose? And why do we need them?

What are emotions?

A simple way of thinking about our emotion is that it is e-motion: energy in motion. Feelings are the physiological representation of our emotions – in other words, feelings are the noticeable aspect of an emotion that brings awareness to a physical part of the body.

There are just a handful of primary emotions – emotions expert Robert Plutchik concluded that we have eight basic emotions:

- Joy
- Acceptance
- Fear
- Surprise
- Sadness
- Disgust
- Anger
- Anticipation

From these basic emotions come all the other emotions we feel, for example: joy + acceptance = friendliness, joy + fear = guilt.

Why do we have emotions?

Research by neuroscientist Dr Joseph Ledoux demonstrates that emotions are a biological and neurological survival response mechanism.

In other words, our emotions give us feedback about how our body feels in any particular situation, whether that is fear for our life or deeply in love.

Our emotions have developed as we’ve evolved to enable us to survive and thrive within a social community.

The fear response

One emotion (or survival mechanism) that’s especially important in understanding health and illness is fear. When fearful, we have several strategies available:

- Withdrawal
- Concealment
- Immobility
- Defensive aggression
- Submission

These responses to shock can be grouped into three categories: fight, flight and freeze. When faced with a threatening stimulus, like an unexpected loud noise, we freeze, identify the potential for danger, and prepare to flee, hide or fight.

How are emotions connected to health?

One set of emotions we all know about is stress! Some of the common feelings associated with stress are pressure, overwhelm, anxiety, nervous tension, strain and worry. All of these feelings stem from the basic emotion of fear – for example, fear of failure, unemployment, rejection, conflict or losing control – to name a few!

The link between stress and health is becoming increasingly accepted even within mainstream medicine.

Epigeneticist Dr Bruce Lipton estimates that 95% of illnesses are caused by stress. We’re familiar with many of these: headaches, IBS, muscular tension, eczema, asthma, back pain, heart problems and so on.

Getting specific with META-Medicine

The question is, if stress is the cause, then why does it result in such a wide range of different symptoms?

The answer is, of course, our emotions! It’s the feelings we experience in the moment of stress that determine how the body responds. The body’s reactions are always meaningful – just as emotions are evolutionary survival mechanisms, so are physical symptoms.

META-Medicine builds on this understanding, showing exactly how specific negative emotions felt in the moment of stress lead to specific symptoms.

We’ll be explaining how we work with beliefs and emotional patterns in a special IMMA members’ webinar on Weds 7th September.

We look forward to meeting you there!

Love and wellness,

Robert Waghmare and Joanne Ross

Nailed by the Government

We can learn many things from people who have gone before us and experienced things in life that we can prevent from happening in our own life and businesses. The following is just one great example.

Karen Nauman who practices EFT posted this to her Facebook Page to share with the world the experience of a lady named Rue Hass (also practicing EFT), who had to deal with some pretty serious issues with Regulatory Bodies in her state of Colorado.

Rue Hass was interviewed by Angela Treat Lyon on her online radio show. She received a Cease and Desist order by her state regulatory agency and learned the hard way what one can and cannot say in their practice and what she can and cannot do in her EFT Practice. As META-Medicine Practitioners and Health Coaches there is much to be learned and to be aware of in your own country about similar issues. Knowledge is indeed power. This is a definite must-listen for anyone practicing META-Medicine or any other type of integrative health.

Take some time to listen to the mp3′s listed below as I don’t know how long they will be available. They will give you some insight as to why we need to be careful what type of words you should use in your own practice and tips to keep yourself out of the same kind of trouble where you live.

Many Thanks to Karen and Rue for providing this information and to Rue for sharing her experience.

META-Medicine and the Spring Equinox – Joanne Ross & Robert Waghmare

Last October, we wrote about the Autumn Equinox from a  META-Medicine perspective and judging by the responses  we received, it struck a chord with many people! In our modern lives, we can forget that we’re part of nature, and underestimate the impact of seasonal cycles on our own health and energy levels. Yet, when we realise, it makes so much sense!
Spring and the Two Phases

March 21st saw the beginning of Spring in the northern hemisphere. As the days become longer and warmer, we see nature unfurl from its winter contraction and momentum builds as we move towards summer. The Spring Equinox marks a time of change-over within us too – we move out of the down phase of winter and our energy starts to increase.

In META-Medicine terms, we could say that Spring marks the beginning of an extended 1st Phase.

When we’re looking at health issues
, we tend to see the 1st Phase as the ‘stress phase’. In its extreme form, the 1st Phase is correlated with uncomfortable symptoms such as mental over-activity, sleeplessness, anxiety and tension.

Yet the 1st Phase is part of our normal, natural rhythm.
We are in Phase 1, activity, during the day, and Phase 2, regeneration, at night. This enables us to maintain an energetic balance between ‘doing’ and ‘being’.

Awakening from winter regeneration

We can also apply the Two Phase cycle to our seasonal activity. For the last few months, during winter, we have been in the 2nd Phase, when we want to reduce our energy expenditure and eat and sleep more to build up our energy reserves. Until the advent of industrialisation, our lifestyles were adapted to this natural rhythm – after the harvest, there would be little work to do until Spring.

When Spring comes, and the sun starts to shine again, our energy picks up, and we experience the 1st Phase in its beneficial form. The meaning behind the 1st Phase is to give us more energy for problem-solving, so it’s a time for greater mental focus, clarity and motivation.
So why do I feel worse?

Of course, seasonal changes also mean readjustment and clearing out the old, so it can be a time for temporary cold-like, hayfever-like symptoms too!

If you continue to feel sluggish despite the time of year, it can be a sign of deep stress: as Bruce Lipton explains, when we’re in constant fight-or-flight, it causes the cells to stay in contraction mode.

How to support the transition

On a physical level, the body naturally wants to detox and let go of the reserves built up over the winter months. Naturopaths often suggest this is a good time for consciously detoxing, whether through a formal programme or simply reducing processed foods and moving over to lighter, healthier diets. Green juices and seasonal food choices help many people with toxin release.

We may be inclined to increase our physical activity at this time. Even if we don’t feel like it, once we start to move more, our energy starts to rise and momentum builds. ‘Exercise’ doesn’t have to be boring! We like rebounding on a mini trampoline, which only takes a few minutes each day.

‘Spring cleaning’ is not just about the cleansing the body or the clearing the clutter from your cupboards! We know from META-Medicine how integral health comes from mental and emotional balance, which means releasing our stress-inducing patterns.

Which key emotional patterns or reactions are creating stress for you? Who or what are you irritated, angry, frustrated or upset with on a regular basis? What new and more positive ways of reacting or interacting with the situation can you find?

Benefit from the new rhythm

After the inner reflection of winter, this time of expansion and moving out into the world can be an opportune moment for goal-setting, particularly in health, relationships or business (far better than the mid-winter New Year’s Resolutions!).

How about setting yourself a goal to increase or maintain your energy levels and vitality? It could be as simple as getting out into nature once a day, engaging in meditation, experimenting with a new form of movement, taking up a creative pursuit or learning a new skill. What would you love to do with the new energy?

One of the changes we’ve made is to start our META-Health Coach Training earlier this year – April feels like a good time to embark on this new journey!

Meta-Medicine – Healing stories

We say that Meta-Medicine isn’t a new therapy, but a tool to create awareness about the underlying pattern behind a symptom/dis-ease.

Sometimes getting aware of the root cause and express it, laud and authentic for the first time, can create big healings.

A Norwegian woman had Fallopian tube obstruction; to the degree she couldn’t become pregnant. Going to a workshop and hearing about the underlying conflict, an ugly-sexual- conflict, she got back to the moment her step-father forced her to touch his genitals. She was 8 years old at that time. Expressing that, she experienced butterflies leaving her Fallopian tubes and 4 month later she was pregnant!

Another student told me about a meeting with a woman, who had ALS (a paralyzing symptom), to the degree she couldn’t move her legs and arms and neither speak. The student asked her if she had experienced anything unexpected, dramatic, that she didn’t have any strategy to deal with it and therefore isolated the feeling. A situation she felt paralyzed in, and it was quite soon before she noticed the first signs of the ALS symptoms. The woman, who couldn’t talk, started to cry and cried for 3 days being present with a deep grief about an abortion. After 3 days she started to move her arms again.

The last story is about a small symptom, but it created a big healing for myself.

During my first visit to Germany during the diploma training in Meta-Medicine, I suddenly discovered that I had a sore spot on my tongue, which I thought was caused by the hard surface of the bread I was eating. During the second part of the training in Germany I got the same symptoms as previously; sore spots on my tongue. I shared my experience with other participants during a group exercise, during which I learned that the surface of the tongue actually was skin, which meant that the symptom of a separation conflict was applicable to me. Biologically the skin is governed by the Cortex and during the Conflict Phase the skin is broken down, which can easily be felt as small cracks on the tongue. When the conflict is resolved the skin is repaired again, and sore blisters appear.

What happened on the biological plane was that I experienced a separation conflict when I left my loving partner Eric, and my home, to travel to Germany. After two days in Germany I decided to accept my situation and to make the best of it, which was when the symptoms of the Regeneration Phase started. Since the conflict was both about my partner and my home, there was a blister on both sides of the tongue.

I asked myself: How come it was the skin on the tongue that reacted and not any other part of the skin on the body? The logical answer was that it was only with Eric that I was able to experience total intimacy, and the tongue represented that intimacy to me.

Being present with that emotion and expressing it to the small group got me in contact with the learning in the situation; the learning really touched me and healed me.

I had associated the feeling of intimacy with Eric. This means that when I left him, I closed down within myself in order not to feel the aching pain as much. No wonder then that I missed him. I was closing myself off from a part of myself, which was the intimacy of my feelings. I really used to feel like an empty shell when I was away. Even when I called him I didn’t feel there was any intimacy in our conversations since I had shut my feelings off earlier. This only made the experience of separation stronger. When I was sharing this with my group during the exercises, I could feel how I started opening up again and how a certain softness came over me. I felt like I was coming home in myself and I felt closer to myself. Even the rest of the group noticed my change and commented on it.

Ever since, I am honestly letting myself really feel all the feelings I have when I travel. Now I have learned to be “at home” even when I am away from home. So healing the blisters was the small reward, but healing  the emotions was life changing!

If you like to learn more about how to reveal the underlying pattern of a symptom, then I start my first Meta-Medicine Webinar Training the 2nd April. It runs over 5 sessions á 1,5-2h. All sessions will be recorded, so you can listen to it in your own time and in your favorite place for learning.

You find more information about the training at  http://www.metamedicine.se/webinar/

I also just updated my eBook “Meta-Medicine – An evolutionary understanding of your body and the healing process.”
It now includes the detailed Organ Mind Body Directory.  You can find out more about it at http://www.metamedicine.se/products

META-Medicine research?

QUESTION received: Do you have any research that you could provide me with based on the efficacy of Meta-Medicine? I know that Richard has done plenty of research as far as his book is concerned but is there other research that has been done that could be accessed so I can pass on those details?

Lars answers: Meta-Medicine (MM) is not a treatment, it is a diagnostics tool. Therefore it does not make sense to asses the efficacy. It makes more sense to asses peoples quality of life before and after diagnosis and understanding the MM model. Are they more or less hopefull after diagnosis? Is the mood going up or down? For me MM is not a life prolonging tool, but a life enhancement tool. I want to have a good life until I die. As good as it can be. A resent study here in Denmark claim that bitter people live longer, then I prefer a short happy life or even long and happy.
For me MM combines traditional, complementary and alternative treatments into an optimal combination. How can we asses if combining treatments will improve results?
So the perfect study would be 300 people with exact the same problem in the same organ, eg ductal cell growth in the breast.
100 would get traditional treatment, many would probably do things on their own, outside our control
100 would get MM
100 in a control group, no treatment
Now the difficulty of this study emerges who would be willing to be in the control group? What if the control group gets the best results? During four major medical doctor strikes in California, Israel(two) and Brazil, the death rate dropped to half of the normal. Was this because the normal treatment is dangerous or because, the sick people were less scared?
Random selection is not wise since it is important that people believe in the treatment they get(Placebo). The latest study here in Denmark say that 38% of any medical success is placebo.
The study would have to run at least five years past the last treatment to declare the person cured in Denmark.
So we are talking about a study, which takes at least 1 year to plan and six years to complete.
Most people who contact me for treatment are in stage four or five (terminal). Is it realistic to help people in stage five, I say yes, and it is a challenge.
Right now MM is very true for me. It is also true for some other people. MM really helps some people to have more hope and understanding of their own process. And yet it is no for everyone, My brother and father do not want to hear about it, they feel that the doctors are responsible for their life, not themselves.
My focus is to find people who find MM inspiring and teach it to them. I have got rid of 22 ailments in the past 15 years. I now understand the MM explanation of most of them, some memories are just to vague to make any sense. I have not been ill in the past five years. Before that I was ill at least three times a year. I can only use myself as an example and I am happy with the result.
In all clients I have helped, we do not really know what helped? Since 2002 its more than 3000 clients. 80% got better, 50% got rid of the problem.
Would any true believer have helped these people or does my toolbox including MM really make a difference.
For me MM just makes it more easy to become a true believer and maybe that’s the whole difference.
